THE NIGHT BEFORE THANKSGIVING

Well, well, well!  It’s that time of year again when the leaves change to a pretty blend of orange, yellow, and red.  The frost starts to accumulate each morning on the lawns of Detroit, and everyone starts thinking about turkey, football, and getting bombed on THE NIGHT BEFORE THANKSGIVING!

This year we’ve moved the party down to the riverfront to one of the most famous party locations in the history of Detroit, The Roostertail.  The Roostertail has been host to some of the most legendary parties ever, including The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Bob Seger, and others.  Joined by our good friends Natives of the New Dawn, THE NIGHT BEFORE THANKSGIVING is sure to be the best one yet!

With an increased capacity of over 2,000 people, a heated beer tent, and shuttles from the Red Wings game, Fishbone’s in St. Clair Shores, and Excalibur Park in Grosse Pointe Park, this is the only spot to go on THE NIGHT BEFORE THANKSGIVING!

Your first crack at getting tickets to this sure to sell out show is at our BUMP does BECK show on Saturday October 24th at the Majestic Cafe in Downtown Detroit.  Advance tickets are only $20 so get them before the price goes up!

Well, I figured I could finally open the envelope with my playoff tickets.  Maybe I’ll get my refund in time for opening day 2010.

Dear Mr. Leyland,

Thank you for listening to us and starting Ryan Raburn in left field, we appreciate it.  You don’t have him leading off, however, we understand since Baker is a righty so we wish Curtis luck.

Best,

Detroit

In September of 1987, led by delegations from Hamtramck (perhaps the most Polish city in the world after Warsaw) 110,000 of the faithful gathered in the Pontiac Silverdome to share communion with the Polish pope – John Paul II. It was world news, and every television station carried the service. And, as international cameras panned down the aisle, they passed a familiar figure. On his feet, arm in the air, sans ketchup bottle but with his accustomed animation, was The Brow himself – cheering the Pope!
